In 2024 I was asked to run a game design workshop for Buro Happold's Urban C:Lab. Urban C:lab is a two-year research and development programme that bypasses routine organisational procedures at Buro Happold.
I was presented with a variety of research proposals and guided the teams into how to turn them into games to help them think, communicate and dig deeper into their ideas.
Games ranged from silly 'night out simulator' to a much more grounded 'carbon capture' game.
